Eligibility

Academic
High - School Diploma. The admission process can start before graduating from high - school, but the candidates must have graduated before the commencement of classes with AHA in October.

English Level
You should have an IELTS 5.5 Academic / TOEFL 46 IBT / Cambridge B2 score 162, or pass our English test. Candidates with a lower level of English will be required to attend our ESL program.

Minimum Age
Students need to be at least 18 years old. The admission process can start before the age of 18, but the candidate must have turned 18 before the commencement of classes.

Our ESL program has been created to help you improve your English skills while also studying 100% in English!What is the ESL Program?
The ESL program is a 3-module program, not included in the curriculum, created to help students significantly improve their English knowledge, structured to adapt to each student’s current English level:

ESL Presession (beginner)
Candidates who obtain between 60-75 (equivalent of IELTS 4.0 - 4.5) points at the Duolingo test. This module is an intensive 6 week course, between August-September, where students will benefit of 120 hours of on-campus lectures with a lecturer and 60 hours of independent study. The successful completion of this module will allow students to enroll in the 1st year.

ESL Independent (intermediate)
Candidates who obtain between 76-94 (equivalent of IELTS 5.0) points at the Duolingo test and candidates who have successfully completed the ESL Presession module. This module lasts for the entire duration of the 1st year, 20 weeks, where students will benefit of 80 hours of on-campus lectures with a lecturer and 20 hours of independent study. The successful completion of this module will allow students to enroll in the 2nd year.

ESL Competent (advanced)
Students who do not hold a language certification equivalent of IELTS 6.0. This module lasts for the entire duration of the academic year, 20 weeks, where students will benefit of 40 hours of on-campus lectures with a lecturer and 40 hours of independent study. The successful completion of this module will increase students' chances to obtain an international English certification equivalent to IELTS 6.0, a requirement for enrolment into the top up part of their programme.
